A common pattern is that we constrict the pelvic floor when under stress. Here, we rub out the inner thighs and low back, tissues that are connected to the pelvic floor and introduce rolling and rocking patterns as a way to titrate the system -- moving it from a collapsed position into a more engaged one so that the ANS has an opportunity to recalibrate and find flow again.
